The mermaid swimming pass serves as an aid to guide the participants through the mermaid world.

Various exercises, games and tricks are varied and combined with visual elements. The learning success of the participants should be achieved through play. In the mermaid lessons the participants are taken into a dream world and try to arouse emotions. We transport these feelings through the motivation to be like a mermaid. At the end of a lesson or course all participants receive the mermaid swimming pass or the corresponding badge. The bathing rules are part of the pass. These rules must be learned, understood and applied by the participants. They must be observed in every lesson. Furthermore, they should prepare the participants to use the material safely on their own and to be able to stay safely in the bathroom.

Mermaid Passport

For the mermaid swimming school we use the mermaid swimming pass, which is based on many years of experience and has proven itself in practice. For bath operators, the pass means that they have mastered their fins. For the participants the badges are a distinction and motivation to train further. It is a possibility to deal with the topic in a target-oriented way.

In this chapter we explain the swimming pass. The aim is to provide the leaders with an instrument with which they can guarantee a red thread for the lessons and courses. It consists of eight pages and can be folded to format A6. Basically it consists of a cover sheet, bathing rules, information about the participants who handed in the passport, three individual lessons and two badge courses. Participants fill in their first name, name and date of birth. The course provider and instructor fills in the field with a stamp or sticker and their signature.

In this lesson we will teach you how to handle the material, train the basic technique, inform you about the bathing rules and shoot a group picture as a reminder. At the end of the lesson all participants receive a mermaid swimming pass and the corresponding badge. There are numerous reasons why this lesson is frequently booked, these are. Parents want to learn what is behind mermaid swimming and get product recommendations for the purchase of their own equipment. Parents want their children to learn the technique and be able to swim safely with the mermaid fins. Preparation for the mermaids badge courses 1. Interested and curious want to try out the sport under professional guidance.

Trick lesson

The trick lesson is based on the trial lesson. We recommend a duration of 60 min. It is assumed that the participants have mastered the handling of the material, know the bathing rules and have already gained initial experience. Adolescents and adults can register directly for the trick lesson. At the first participation, a short assessment will be carried out using a mermaid safety test. This lesson can be booked individually and attended several times. The lesson content is individually adapted to the participants and is based on different exercises, metaphors and the Trickkarten. At the end of the lesson all participants, if not present, receive a mermaid swimming pass and the corresponding badge.

Targets: Playful learning with individually designed lessons with the help of the Trick cards.

Shooting

For the photo shooting under water we recommend to calculate about 60 min and the group size should be maximum 4 participants. For the pictures we recommend a GoPro because of the easy handling and the price. Good lighting conditions underwater and above water are decisive for success. It is therefore necessary to select the pool carefully. At the beginning there is a short group introduction to posing under water. Afterwards we recommend 10 to 12 minutes per participant for the underwater photos. The goal is to get 6 to 8 good underwater shots per participant. At the end of the lesson, if not available, the participants can receive a mermaid swimming pass and the corresponding shooting badge. The pictures taken will be made available to the participant in digital form.

Targets: Mermaids photo shooting with 6 - 8 good shots.
