Aqua Mermaid course from swimsports

Next year in March, the MJSS team will be doing the Aqua Mermaid course. The Aqua Mermaid course, run by swimsports.ch and MJSS, is a 2-day course where we focus on your safety. There you will learn how to give safe and high quality mermaid swimming lessons. Different topics around mermaiding will be covered. On one hand, you get to know the products and the material better and learn how to handle them, so we can give you the right instructions on how to use the mermaid fin. On the other hand, we learn the do's and don'ts. What to do, or definitely not to do with the mermaid fin. Of course, the safety of the little mermaids and mermen is always in the spotlight. We will be prepared for emergencies and learn to teach you how to swim safely with the mermaid fin. At the end of the Aqua Mermaid course we will of course get to know our mermaid swimming pass better.

Like in school, the basics are created first, and then deepened afterwards. Since we do the whole thing in a 2-day run, it goes pretty fast. On the first day we build basics and on the second day we deepen our knowledge with different exercise variations and practice demo skills.

Training procedure:

The Aqua Mermaid course is organized by swimsports.ch and MJSS and will take place on 25/26 March 2023. So the course lasts 2 days, in which we go through many different topics for your safety in mermaiding. After the 2 course days, 1 observation lesson and 1 practical lesson must be completed.
